Led by artistic director, narrator, and violist David Yang, Philadelphia based Auricolae Children's Troupe has performed for thousands of students in the Delaware Valley, introducing young people to contemporary music through familiar fairy tales such as Jack and the Beanstalk, Rumpulstilskin, and the Three Little Pigs. From Robert Capanna's Second Viennese school influenced "Rumpulstilskin" to David Yang's klezmer-inspired "Prince Rooster", this recording is a charming and fresh way to experience timeless tales, for children AND their parents.
